Gideon Tazelaar
About
Tenor saxophonist Gideon Tazelaar grew up in the Netherlands, where he developed his musical skills by playing with Benjamin Herman and John Engels from a young age.
In 2017 he moved to New York City, where he studied at the Juilliard School of Music and played with and was mentored by George Coleman and Wynton Marsalis.
In 2020 he recorded and released his debut album, Volume 1, which features Ian Cleaver, Felix Moseholm and Jorge Rossy.
